Olivia’s Basketis one family’s effort to turn their tragedy into hope for others across the U.S./Mexico border. After the tragic death of their youngest daughter Olivia, John and Jane Ray of Fayetteville, Arkansas, started this nonprofit organization that funds and builds houses for homeless families just across the border. Each year, they take a group of high school students from Northwest Arkansas and drive all the way to Tijuana. Not only are these families provided a home, the students that build it for them learn problem solving, team building and cultural knowledge by crossing mental and physical barriers to help others.
